American Congress on Surveying and Mapping
New England Section
To promote geomatics education and to advocate for the advancement of surveying and mapping in New England.
 
On March 6, 1967, by action of the ACSM Board of Directors, the New England Section was chartered as a local section of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, with jurisdiction over the New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
